The Teva Original came from simple beginnings when in 1984 a Grand Canyon river guide stumbled upon a sports sandal design which enabled a confidence to get on with the active lifestyle that he loved.
What began as an old Velcro watch strap attached to a flip flop has grown into an recognisable style icon that quickly developed a universal appeal from the surfers that rely on the technical aspects of the fabrication, to an outing on the Marc Jacobs runway and the style bloggers who have adopted it as this years festival shoe.
Whether yours take you on adventures around the world or no further than the city street, the pared back modern sports design can be relied on for its exceptional comfort and lightweight sole.
We love the lack of branding and the minimal, stripped back design and will be playing up the sporty edge by pairing ours with nothing more than fuss free denim dresses and bare legs.
