Style focus - The new nineties

Whilst we don't tend to pay too much attention to trends here at Mercantile London, we do like to freshen up our hard working classics with a bit of a nod to what's happening out there on the runway and we can't help but notice our youth coming around yet again in the guise of grunge.

It's still Nineties inspired in silhouette, but much more polished this time around, with destroyed denim sitting alongside silk shirts and pretty florals appearing on silk. So keep the roomy silhouette,the left field combinations of print and texture, and hi/lo styling of vintage and designer but look out for those luxe fabrics and swap out the heavy boots for fresh white trainers.
