Celebrating warm weather dressing and inspired by their world travel, Amanda, an ex-fashion buyer met Kirstine, a former Danish fashion model with a sales background, in London several years ago. With a continued mission to create fresh, refined and elegant summer clothes and accessories at affordable price points, Star Mela is now an established summertime brand.

As Star Mela evolves, Amanda and Kirstine ensure the collections remain authentic to their travel and fashion philosophy, which is to create easy-to-wear affordable pieces that can be thrown in a suitcase at a moment’s notice. 

This SS17 season sees 'The Romantics' collection; on-trend florals are inspired by traditional artisan embroidery and adorn tops, playsuits and dresses, along with Mexican inspired embroidered shift dresses and artisan influenced beaded tote bags, for an easy summer feel.
