The SS20 Native Youth’s collection is made from sustainable, trend-driven yet functional menswear and womenswear with careful consideration given to fabrication and the perfect fit. Through the designers’ interest in art, photography, and contemporary culture, androgynous British silhouettes fuse with Japanese style details, and juxtaposing Scandinavian prints and colour bursts create a diversified collection.
With a signature (sell out) print each collection, the SS20 offer is the Tarrazzo print with a mix and match pattern of soft peach, pink, white and sky blue. Irena is a graphic all-over wave print of punchy blues , yellow, sea-foam green, white, yellow, pink and black which has been used across a top, shorts and jumpsuit, there is also a flattering on-trend solid lilac used on various pieces including the Phelps jumpsuit.
BAGGU started in 2007 because the founders wanted a reusable bag that was functional, affordable, and aesthetically pleasing. When they couldn’t find one, they decided to make it. The result was Baggu: the standard design is based on the construction of a plastic shopping bag, made from lightweight rip-stop nylon, and built to hold two to three times as much as a disposable grocery bag.
Designed to minimise waste, BAGGU uses sustainable materials - all of the reusable bags, are made with 40% recycled material. The brand is using a recycled nylon filament yarn produced from pre-consumer waste, which means saving scrap material from landfills, and in turn, helping conserve petroleum resources and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. They also use environmentally responsible dyes that are fully absorbed by the material during production, minimising runoff.
The SS20 season sees an array of colours, prints, and designs and our edit includes a strong tomato solid, a soft tye-dye pink, washed brick stripe, a graphic green daisy and tiger print option.
