For Autumn Winter 2021, Danish brand Stine Goya draws inspiration from the speakeasies of the roaring 1920s and the nonchalant cool of the 1980s New Romantics movement, where individuality and self-expression reigned supreme. Driven by emotion and romanticism, Grunge Euphoria celebrates the carefree sensuality of nightlife.
How this translates in real life is a collection of stand out prints that the Stine collections have become renowned for. Colour and print as expected is there, but remains wearable and easy to style in with your every day basics. The Linn dress, a great day-to-evening piece is offered in a velvet devore, which hints at the colder days to come. The co-ord Andy trouser, has a flattering flared silhouette and is styled for the last of the warm days with bare arms in the Annemarie vest, which then becomes a handy layering piece over shirting and tees as the days cool.
Trophy knits and tactile teddy coats appeared in multiple collections and Stine offers the Italian produced Adonis sweater with a patterned colour blocking and voluminous patterned sleeve, which nods to the New Romantic days in its styling with a striped trouser. Beth is a midi teddy coat with functionable welt pockets, wide sleeves and large button fastenings in a stunning lilac shade that will help lift the grey winter days.
The hard working Eddy blouse makes it appearance again in a scaled up flower print in a recycled polyester, and for those who maybe want to add just a hint of Stine into their look, (or an affordable gift option) scrunchies, recycled tote bags and socks that peek out of winter boots are all available
